Featured Prints
"Rainbow Bridge II" is a collagraph by Milly Charles in which a violet-toned bridge arcs across a landscape of patterned mountains. Each range carries its own distinct texture, layered from warm foreground peaks to cooler, darker ranges behind, all set against a bright blue sky. The interplay of pattern and color gives the scene its depth and life. Printed on 6.5 × 6 inch paper.
"Heading for Home" is a collagraph by Milly Charles in which a great rock formation, pierced by a central opening, frames a distant landscape. Its dark, repeating texture towers over three small shadowy figures crossing the stone toward somewhere beyond the frame, past striped and dotted mountains and a still lake beneath a bright sky. Printed on 12 × 8 inch paper.
"The Saguaros II" is a collagraph by Milly Charles in which three green saguaros rise across a warm desert landscape of soft yellows, browns, and salmon mountains beneath a splotchy pink and blue sky. The cacti hold their crisp striped patterning while the ground, mountains, and sky move in looser, repeating textures, the steady and the restless together giving the scene its depth. Printed on 6.5 × 6 inch paper.
"Canyon Country" is a collagraph by Milly Charles in which a boldly textured canyon, worked in stripes of black and deep red, frames a wider desert scene. Beyond it, quieter canyons rise from still water in softer tones that seem to melt into the fuzzy pink and blue sky, their distinct colors holding them just apart. Printed on 6.5 × 6 inch paper.
